Nano-C, is a leading developer of nanostructured carbon for use in energy and electronics applications. These materials include fullerenes, carbon nanotubes and their chemical derivatives.
Nano-C looks to expand its markets by partnering with applications developers. Early-on Nano-C identified the University of Birmingham and later Irresistible Materials (IM), its spin-off company, as having critical fullerene-based technology that would fundamentally enable the development of the next generation of semi-conductors. By working with Dr Alex Robinson and his associates at IM, we jointly have significantly advanced the overall materials chemistry and its application. The IM/Nano-C team is now meeting with commercial partners in the final step to commercialization.
Nano-C has an exclusive license from Unidym/Siemens for the malonate-type fullerene derivative targeted for use in EUV Photo-resists and in Hard Masks. In addition, Nano-C has received EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) clearance for fullerene and malonate-type fullerene derivative manufacture supporting the drive to full commercial availability.
Nano-C's mission is to play a key role in enabling applications of these materials and is committed to their responsible development and use. Nano-C is a privately held company founded in 2001 and is located in Westwood, Massachusetts, USA. For more information, visit: http://www.nano-c.com/.
